The first to announce candidacy for the Democratic nod to run against John Cornyn, may also be the first to bow out. Emil Reichstadt, a Dallas-area private practice attorney and former Army JAG officer could announce as early as this week whether he may be ending his campaign bid, leaving the remaining two candidates San Antonio Millionaire Mikal Watts, and Texas Representative Lt. Col. Rick Noriega.
